Kruff Kurtis Returns With 'New Life' EP
South Africa-born, Auckland-based producer and multi-instrumentalist Kruff Kurtis is back after 4 years of downtime between releases with his New Life EP. An exploratory seven track instrumental journey through realms of cosmic jazz, meditative beat workouts and immersive soundscapes, the collection is released by ever-adventurous Aoateroa independent label / collective The Grow Room. Kurtis spent his time between releases becoming a husband and a father, he describes New Life as "really the last few years of my life in a nutshell". Standouts moments include the melodic gamelan percussion and headspinningly playful production of 'Ancestor', and the spiritually refreshing lapping sonic waves of the title track – open your ears to Kruff Kurtis' New Life here...
