Wellington's Piggery Unleash Two Tracks From Their Self-Titled Debut Album
Wellington-based crust / sludge supergroup Piggery have dropped two senses-bedraggling tracks from their forthcoming, self-titled debut album. ‘Blood Into Piss’ begins with speedy riffs reminiscent of Skaven with guttural, filth-drenched vocals recalling crust punk forebearers Doom, mid-exorcism, before devolving into a full blown, snail-paced sonic apocalypse. ‘A.R.T.K.D.A.’ is a punishing four minute stomp through the most offal-laden, stench-ridden aural-abattoir floors imaginable. This almost indigestible output of Piggery is hardly surprising, given that they share members with noted bad-buzz bands as Methdrinker, Corpse Rat and Stress Ghetto. The self-titled release drops in full on Saturday 1st June as a joint release with Te Whanganui-a-Tara DIY imprints Razored Raw, Alwaysneverfun, Limbless and Six Noises but in the meantime you can wade through the aural filth below…
Very limited copies 12" vinyl copies still remain of 'Blood Into Piss' via Razored Raw, Alwaysneverfun, Limbless and Six Noises – move quick if you want one.
