Christchurch's Paploco Drops Debut Collection 'Demo One'

Ōtautahi electronic dance trailblazers The Big Fresh Collective have dropped a fresh collection of FootMahi, the imprint's regional take on footwork, this time from emerging producer Paploco aka Aaron Ashworth. Titled Demo One, the seven track offering is smothered in more hyperactive beats then you can shake a drum brush at, and sprinkled with vocals samples to amp up the raving dancefloor-fillers. Highlights include the ominous synthline of ‘BAD BOI’ and the stereo-spanning chords and hypnotising repetition of ‘PAPANUI BLUE SENIOR JERESY’. Fun fact: Ashworth first honed his production and composition skills in “long forgotten local Christchurch Black Metal Band Dawning & a few years before that Death Metal band Rectophagia”.
