Earth Unveil Meditative Single 'The Mandrake's Hymn'

Seattle drone-metal pioneers Earth have unveiled a towering new track titled 'The Mandrake’s Hymn' from their forthcoming ninth album Full Upon Her Burning Lips, dropping this month. An instrumental exercise in minimalism and restraint, the guitar / drums duo of Dylan Carlson and Adrienne Davies dial back the crushing heaviness of yore, and push the meditative aspects of Earth's signature slow-motion riffage to the forefront, conjuring a monolithic sense of scale throughout the zen-like five minute piece.
