Tāmaki Makaurau electronic dance producer Amamelia aka Amelia Berry (songwriter of sadly-defunct jangle-synth crew Polyester) has dropped a cosmic new tune, punningly titled 'Give Me Space', after storming student radio charts with her cheeky recent banger 'Gay Slut'. The artist's latest track teleports listeners to a celestial realm of woozy futuristic synths and light-as-a-feather skittering breakbeats, featuring the vocal debut of "sad-girl singer" Junny. Amamelia cites left-of centre NZ dance-pop trailblazers Strawpeople and 90s trip hop heavyweight DJ Food as influences on her vibey latest works celebrating queerness and femininity, dive into a stream of 'Give Me Space' (feat. Junny) here...
