Watch Faux Machismo's Debut Video 'Shake The Bones'
Formerly one half of Auckland's Cat Venom and now based in Leeds, singer / guitarist Maeve Munro has thrown her hat in the ring with drummer Anna Ridley for "stoner-witch-doom-grunge" project Faux Machismo, who are unleashing their self-titled debut collection this Friday via NZ / UK independent imprint Muzai Records. The pair have dropped an ominous teaser for the EP, in the form of a clip for their ribcage rattling new track 'Shake The Bones', following swiftly on from their fuzz-driven first single 'Sink' you can also hear below. Conveying spooky Blair Witch Project vibes with handheld forest footage and supernatural symbolism, the hazily anthemic 'Shake The Bones' is sure to send a shiver down your spine. UK dwellers in darkness can catch the duo on Thursday 23rd May playing with Overwhelmed and Beige Palace at CHUNK in Leeds, experience 'Shake The Bones' here...
Faux Machismo's self-titled debut EP is out this Friday 24th May digitally and on limited edition cassette via Muzai Records.
