P Wits Unveils Album 'The Desire And Pursuit Of The Whole'

Tamaki Makaurau-based sonic adventurer P Wits has shared a mind-bending nine-track offering titled The Desire and Pursuit of The Whole. The collection delivers a composite of guitars, synths, tape loops and other aural oddities, often culminating in passages which are washed out, buzzed out and blown out. The Desire and Pursuit of The Whole has a limited edition cassette release from Australian label chemical imbalance and is P Wits’ third release on the label, following up last year's Blonde on Blonde and 2017’s self-titled offering. P Wits is the solo project of Benedict Quilter who plays in heavy Auckland outfits Psychick Witch and Yawn, has been spotted on local stages as a member of Ary and the Jansens, and co-founded prolific experimental imprint Independent Women Records.
