Wazzo Clash 'London Calling' Nationwide Tour Announced

Aotearoa's foremost The Clash tribute band Wazzo Clash have a riotous run of shows lined up across the nation this autumn. Featuring members of foundational Wellington groups Head Like a Hole, Dead Vicious and Wazzo Ghoti (1986 - 1994, from whom Wazzo Clash derive their name), expect nothing less than a fist-pumping selection of passionate punk classics from Joe Strummer and co.'s 1979 third studio album London Calling, celebrating the 40th anniversary of the trailblazing double LP's release. New Zealand's own tribute to the Clash, Wazzo Clash, perform songs from the London Calling album to celebrate the 40th anniversary of its release. The group takes its name from an earlier incarnation Wazzo Ghoti, an original alternative band from Wellington who performed from 1986 - 1994.

Formed in 2002 Wazzo Clash have performed shows around the New Zealand and have a reputation for exciting shows, enthusiastic audiences and an authentic delivery evoking the essence of the Clash live.

The line-up includes members from legendary Wellington bands Wazzo Ghoti, Dead Vicious and Head Like a Hole.
