Tāmaki Makaurau's Mixed Vege, the solo bedroom pop project of Rodney Fisher (Goodshirt), has unveiled a remix of his latest single ‘Taking Its Toll’, courtesy of recently re-emerged Christchurch electronic maverick Pikachunes. The remix leans further into the robo-rhythms of the minimal original recording, pairing the latter's lightly auto-tuned vocals and dazed drums with a thick synth bass line and spacey orchestral pads.
