Local Natives New Zealand Show Announced

US indie rockers Local Natives are bringing tunes from their brand new album Violet Street our way this winter, with a special headline event lined up for Auckland's Tuning Fork in July. Released in April, the lushly recorded Violet Street is the swoon-inducing first long-player from the Los Angeles five-piece since their acclaimed 2016 collection Sunlit Youth. This will be Local Natives' long-awaited first Aotearoa appearance, crossed fingers the band will be packing faves from their breakthrough earlier albums Gorilla Manor (2009) and Hummingbird (2013) along for the ride too...

The Tuning Fork share exciting news today. Indie-rock 5-piece, Local Natives are coming to New Zealand for one show at the Tuning Fork in Auckland on July 22nd. This show is a part of their Spiral Choir tour which will see the band perform across America, Europe, UK and Australia.

On April 26th, the LA-based band shared their hotly anticipated fourth record Violet Street, the first in four years since Sunlit Youth. DIY Mag described it as being "a tale of affection deeply rooted in the realism of love, not just in romance but in life."
