Whitney Announce New Album + Share Lead Single 'FTA'

Chicago indie darlings Whitney have awoken from their twee slumber to announce a new album and share the lead single, 'Giving Up'. A few days ago the band dropped a track and video cryptically titled 'FTA', which we now know stands for Forever Turned Around, the title of their sophomore album due out this August. Whitney released their hugely popular debut Light Upon The Lake in 2016 and played a killer show at Auckland's Laneway festival the following year, but they’ve been touring and keeping fairly quiet since. In the meantime they’ve released a couple of covers, some demos, plus the band’s trumpet player Will Miller has been busy with his jazz collective Resavoir.
