Neil Hamburger Returning To New Zealand In July

America's funnyman Neil Hamburger is bringing his off-colour gags back to Aotearoa this July for a special evening of hilarity, music and magic at Auckland's Whammy Bar. Neil Hamburger is the anti-comedy project of the multitalented Gregg Turkington, infamous co-host with Tim Heidecker of Adult Swim's On Cinema series, and member of such transgressive sonic units as Faxed Head, Secret Chiefs 3 and Caroliner. Neil Hamburger rose from underground roots in the mid-nineties (his first albums dropped via Drag City) to genuine global online stardom, he'll be joined by Magic By Simone (USA) and Auckland "pizza-wave whizz-kid" Power Nap for the occasion. Neil Hamburger's previous local appearance was all the way back in 2005, don't even think of missing him this time around...
