Alphabethead Drops Title Track To 'Leisure World' + Single 'Ghouls & Ghosts'

Wednesday 19th June, 2019 1:26PM

Pōneke beat wizard Alphabethead is back with two mind-zapping tunes from his forthcoming album Leisure World, which is inspired by "8-Bit video games, soul, psych-rock, trap and Bollywood soundtracks." The All Seeing Hand member and one-time NZ DMC champ delivers on that promise with the freshly unveiled title track and accompanying single 'Ghouls & Ghosts'. The former is a self-proclaimed "'advertisement' for a super-cool imaginary retirement home," opening a sonic gateway to a pretty awesome space to spend your days, while 'Ghouls & Ghosts' is a sprite-driven adventure into a creepy castle where danger lurks around every corner, channelling the non-stop thrills of playing the 1988 video game of the same name. While we're counting the days until Leisure World's release later in 2019, you can enjoy both new tunes by merely clicking on the Soundcloud play icons below – what an age we live in!
