Purple Pilgrims Unveil Single 'Love In Lunacy (Saturn Return)' + Video
Purple Pilgrims announced their sophomore LP Perfumed Earth in May and today they’ve unveiled the dreamy second single from the album, 'Love in Lunacy (Saturn Return)'. The sibling duo of Valentine and Clementine Nixon have been lying low since their 2016 collection Eternal Delight and the new tunes are worth the wait, featuring instrumental contributions from Gary War, saxophonist Jeff Henderson, Jimmy Mac (Scuba Diva), and Christchurch experimental guitar legend Roy Montgomery. Recorded in the untamed forest environs of Tapu on the Coromandel Peninsula, 'Love in Lunacy (Saturn Return)' is spellbinding, with swirling vocals tangled up in cymbals and harmonies, the perfect atmospheric follow-up to lead single 'Two Worlds Apart'.
