NZ guitar-pop gurus Soaked Oats kicked off their Sludge Pop release tour over the weekend, celebrating their very catchy and evocatively-titled five song collection in Tauranga on Friday and at a bustling headline show at Auckland's Galatos on Saturday. They were supported at the latter gig by Tāmaki Makaurau's Being., the project of rising songwriter Jasmine Balmer, who's been on a roll herself lately.
