John Dwyer's unstoppable garage-punk project Oh Sees have unleashed another mind-melting audio-visual combo, in the form of new single 'Poisoned Stones' accompanied by an eyeball-infecting animated clip by Eaten Alive Illustrations. Combining hyper-coloured pixel art with a feverish narrative, the video for 'Poisoned Stones' is like a biker's psychedelic nightmare, with a mysterious helmeted figure navigating a minimal landscape dotted with ghoulish beasts and hidden peril. The song itself is a zoned collision of caveman-like rhythmic oomph and freewheeling psychedelic guitars, and looks to be drawn from the US group's upcoming double LP Face Stabber, dropping in mid-August via Castle Face Records.
