Sleater-Kinney Share Title Track To New Album 'The Center Won’t Hold'
Washington riot grrrl rockers Sleater-Kinney have unveiled the title track from their August release, St. Vincent produced album The Center Won’t Hold. The fresh tune is industrial and furious, a song that guitarist and vocalist Corin Tucker says "drops you into the world of catastrophe that touches on the election". The third single from the LP comes on the heels of drummer Janet Weiss leaving the band after 23 years, a decision she made due the band heading in a "new direction". Although Weiss has tapped out of upcoming tours, she still features on the album recording. Check out the chaotic animated lyric video for 'The Center Won’t Hold', directed by Kristen Ferguson...
'The Center Won't Hold' is out Friday 16th August via Milk! Records / Rhythmethod.
