Australian pop artist with a perpetual tongue in his cheek Kirin J Callinan stars in the video for his cover of Billy Field’s 'You Weren’t In Love With Me'. The track is from Callinan’s collection of covers Return To Center, a ten-track album that was recorded in two weeks before all the gear was taken back within the store’s return policy period. In the new clip, Callinan sings to Groundhog Day and Four Weddings And A Funeral actor Andie MacDowell from his "favourite blue Bell payphone" in Québec. After they hang up, Callinan sings in front of a giant, neon cross and MacDowell dances melodramatically in her living room next to a grand piano. The crooner himself takes to Aotearoa stages this month in a nationwide tour with Ōtepoti psych-poppers Marlin’s Dreaming, with special guests The Chills performing at his Dunedin show.
