Bat For Lashes, the project of Brighton's Natasha Khan, has continued a winning run of singles mining a cinematic vein of Italo and synth-pop in the lead-up to her forthcoming studio album Lost Girls. The artist's latest tune 'Jasmine' melds passionate spoken word passages with dramatically crystalline percussion and seductive spiralling synth action, which wouldn't sound at all out of place on an archival release of 80s European electronic pop.
