Pixies Share New Album 'Beneath The Eyrie'
US alt-rock pioneers Pixies have dropped their eighth studio album Beneath The Eyrie, in advance of the band's eagerly anticipated return to Aotearoa in early 2020. Currently featuring founding members Black Francis, Joey Santiago, David Lovering and recent addition Paz Lenchantin (subbing in for Kim Deal), the massively influential crew's latest record doesn't deviate from what they do best, dishing up a generous banquet of fuzzy hooks and warped storytelling, sounding cheerfully fresh-faced as they tear through twelve brand new anthems. You can join Pixies performing both their seminal 1987 EP Come On Pilgrim and classic 1988 debut album Surfer Rosa in full, plus a selection of faves and tunes from Beneath The Eyrie at Tāmaki Makaurau's Spark Arena this coming March...
Pixies - Come On Pilgrim… It’s Surfer Rosa
Friday 6th March - Spark Arena, Auckland
General public sales available via Live Nation
'Beneath The Eyrie' is out now via Infectious / BMG.
