UK Anti-Folk Punk Duo Crywank New Zealand Shows Announced
UK anti-folk punk heroes Crywank are journeying all the way to our shores this October to play their first ever Aotearoa headline events, happening at Wellington's Moon and Auckland's Cassette Nine. With six studio long players currently tucked under the attention-grabbing duo's belt, vocalist / guitarist James Clayton co-founded the globally acclaimed musical project back in 2009, joined by drummer Dan Watson in 2012. Expect tonnes of emotional content from the creators of such reflective and raw anthems as 'Song for a Guilty Sadist', 'I Am Shit' and 'It's Okay, I Wouldn't Remember Me Either'. Press release:
Crywank are the UK’s biggest anti-folk punk band and they are making their exciting New Zealand debut!
In the past years, they have released an incredible hoard of new and wonderful music, but they’ll also be playing hits across the huge discography they’ve been crafting over the last decade from albums 'Wearing Beige On A Grey Day', 'Tomorrow Is Nearly Yesterday and Everyday Is Stupid'. The songs are 80% sad so please do make sure to come along and have a cry - strictly no wanking, in the physical sense, is allowed.
