The crowds thronged to Karangahape Road's The Studio to catch a glimpse of the raucous rhyme slinging emanating from Denzel Curry on Wednesday night, the second of two hugely anticipated Tāmaki Makaurau return performances from the rising Florida hip hop artist. Containing Curry’s tsunami-like energy inside of an indoors venue seemed like a mean feat in light of the rapper’s field-levelling set at Laneway Festival 2019, with punters (metaphorically) burning down the house with mosh pits and crowd surfing.
