Moon Duo Unveil New Album 'Stars Are The Light'

C.C. / Friday 27th September, 2019 9:59AM

Portland's Moon Duo have lifted the lid on their seventh studio long player Stars Are The Light, serving up a fistful of third eye expanding tunes including stellar student radio faves 'Eternal Shore' and 'Lost Heads'. The team of Ripley Johnson (Wooden Shjips) and Sanae Yamada (Vive La Void) conjure the mellowest of moods via fractal-like grooves, interstellar guitars and questing electronics, with Yamada taking over lead vocal duties on multiple tracks for the first time in the unit's psychedelic history. Real heads will be jamming this one non-stop for a guaranteed no-bummer summer season, open your ears to a stream of Stars Are The Light...

'Stars Are The Light' is out now via Sacred Bones.
