Tiny Ruins Shares 'Olympic Girls Solo' Album
The Silver Scroll-nominated Tiny Ruins have shared a stripped-back reiteration of their lauded LP Olympic Girls which came out in February this year. Released a few days after their Aotearoa tour wrapped, Olympic Girls Solo is simply Hollie Fullbrook’s unshakeable vocals and a Guild guitar for eleven lush acoustic tracks. Each song was recorded in one take toward the end of the full band recordings, as an exercise in process, giving the artists a way to see how the songs had evolved. Fullbrook explained "So much happened during the process... I felt a need to get a snapshot of the songs at the end of it, with all that learning, reflecting on where they'd begun, and where they'd ended up". Take a listen to Olympic Girls Solo below…
'Olympic Girls Solo' is out now digitally and available on CD and cassette here.
