Listen To Peter Jefferies' Collection 'Last Ticket Home'
NZ songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Peter Jefferies, co-founder of Flying Nun Records / Xpressway trailblazers This Kind Of Punishment, has dropped a new collection of rare solo singles and ephemera showcasing his singular creative vision titled Last Ticket Home. Gathering together obscure releases from between 1991 - 2019 alongside freshly unveiled tunes, Ticket Home presents a diverse range of material over twelve tracks, including the scuzzed up noise-rock of 'Guided Tour', the haunting piano-driven sonics of 'Lassitude', a powerfully dramatic live recording of the title track to his 1994 album Electricity, and the stately beauty of 'Ghostwriter'. Vinyl preorders of Last Ticket Home were accompanied by a bonus LP of unreleased tracks by Jefferies titled Clutter, which currently looks to be sold out on Ba Da Bing Records' Bandcamp page.
