Earth Tongue 'Floating Being' National Tour Announced

Pōneke psych-fuzz gurus Earth Tongue have revealed they'll be playing a run of summer launch parties for their debut album Floating Being, which dropped in June via Bristol's Stolen Body Records while the hard-gigging duo of Gussie Larkin (Mermaidens) and Ezra Simons were touring Europe. It's been a busy year for Larkin indeed – she's also just about to leap into a national tour celebrating the release of Mermaidens' superb new album Look Me In The Eye, kicking off this weekend in Christchurch and Dunedin. Earth Tongue's mind-frying riff action has been honed to perfection with live appearances at such high profile international events as the UK's Astral Festival (headlined by Thurston Moore) and they've just been announced to appear at Desertfest Berlin 2020 – catch them tearing it up throughout Aotearoa in December before they head back overseas...

Wellington psychedelic fuzz duo Earth Tongue are excited to announce their highly anticipated return to New Zealand. This December the duo will play four key dates in Wellington, Auckland, Christchurch and Dunedin to celebrate the release of their debut album. Their live set has been praised by international reviewers, describing their songs as explosive and thrilling. Expect thick walls of fuzz-laden riffs interweaving with lush, reverb-washed vocals and punishing drums.

Released via Bristol-based label Stolen Body Records in June this year, ‘Floating Being’ has received international acclaim, with the first two vinyl pressings selling out in days. The band have recently returned from a successful European tour, appearing at festivals from the UK to Poland alongside bands such as Monolord and Radio Moscow.
