A.K. / Wednesday 9th October, 2019 12:35PM

The Auckland Folk Festival lineup for 2020 had been announced, boasting a marvellous, sprawling bill of local and international folk talents for its 47th year. Over the three day festival, the performer count will tick up over the hundred mark, spanning workshops, five main stages, and the spaces in between. A major highlight this year will be Grammy Award winning US folk master Tim O’Brien, and his partner Jan Fabricius, along with several Canadian folk artists including Scott Cook, Gordie Tentrees and five piece band Rosier. Celtic group Keeva will be bringing their high energy performance to the table, the enchanting Pauline Scanlon and band will join the festival from Ireland, and Irish folk singer Andy Irvine will be returning to the line up 20 years since he last took the stage for the Auckland Folk Festival. Peep the full list of acts below, featuring a welcome bunch of Aotearoa’s own, from Ebony Lamb (Eb & Sparrow) to the eclectic You, Me, Everybody
