Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats Auckland Headline Show Announced

It's been a great day for local lovers of diabolically crunchy riffage – not only have UK psychedelic blues-doom heroes Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats been revealed to be co-headlining Upper Hutt's Obey The Riff festival in March 2020, they're also swinging into Tāmaki Makaurau's Whammy Bar for a mind-frying headline event. Last here in Aotearoa in 2014 supporting Eagles Of Death Metal, Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats' blazed anthems have channelled the blues-inflected spirit of late sixties metal since their formation in 2009, expressed across five studio albums including 2018's Wasteland. Catch the cult rockers in the flesh this coming March...
