The Pleasure Majenta Return With Single 'Vipers Den’
Berlin based, Aotearoa raised genre-traversers The Pleasure Majenta have shared a cinematic and sonically intense new tune sporting the name ‘Vipers Den’. The song starts out with flamenco-tinged acoustic guitar strums and ethereal synthesized accordion melodies complimenting Lawrence Goodwin’s (Career Girls, Black Snake Whip) narrative, folk-infused vocal lines before experiencing a post rock-esque shift toward distorted guitars. Goodwin lifted the lid on some recent additions to The Pleasure Majenta’s personale since relocating to Europe, mentioning that Sophia Lawler-Dormer [of New Gum Sarn] and EJ (aka LVJ) are now in the group and "Bonzo Kek (The Tarts) plays on Vipers Den." Check out the tune below....
‘Vipers Den’ is lifted from The Pleasure Majenta's forthcoming album 'Who Knows What,' which drops in full on cassette and digitally on the 15th November with a release party at Ziegrastraße 11, Berlin.
