World class shredder Nita Strauss (The Iron Maidens, Femme Fatale) is not only visiting Aotearoa this February to perform as a member of shock-rock icon Alice Cooper's touring band, she'll also be presenting a special guitar clinic at Wellington's San Fran in the days following Cooper's stadium headline event. A chart-topping solo artist – her debut album Controlled Chaos dominated the Billboard charts on its release in 2018 – Strauss has been ranked at number one by none other than Guitar World on their list of 10 Female Guitar Players You Should Know, and is the first ever female Ibanez signature artist with her own signature guitar (the JIVA10 electric guitar). NITA STRAUSS, current touring guitarist for Alice Cooper and successful solo artist.

Having performed in The Iron Maidens and Femme Fatale, Nita has been part of Alice Coopers band touring and recording since 2014 when she replaced outgoing guitarist Orianthi.

Strauss was the first ever female Ibanez signature artist with her own signature model guitar, the JIVA10 electric guitar, and is regularly featured on the covers of worldwide magazines including Guitar World and Guitar Player. She is one of the most in-demand guitar clinicians in the world today.

In 2018 Nita released her debut album Controlled Chaos which debuted on the Billboard charts at #1 Top New Artist, #3 Label Independent, #4 Top Hard Music, #8 Top Rock, #8 Top Internet.

She has been ranked #1 on Guitar World’s list of “10 Female Guitar Players You Should Know.”
