Sulfate Debut Album Release Tour Announced

Tāmaki Makaurau's Sulfate, the solo project of Peter Ruddell (1/3 of Wax Chattels), has revealed a further run of headline shows celebrating the recent release of his darkly compelling self-titled debut album. Joined by drummer David Harris (Jonathan Bree, Princess Chelsea), and armed with his trusty Yamaha YC20 organ and a mindbending array of FX pedals, Ruddell will be treating fans to an extensive run of Aotearoa events including Sulfate's debut South Island shows, before jumping the ditch for his project's first ever Melbourne gigs. Sulfate - Peter Ruddell 1/3 of New Zealand's “guitarless guitar band,” noise-rock trio Wax Chattels, joined by David Harris (Jonathan Bree, Princess Chelsea) on drums - announces an Australasian tour this November/December.

Sulfate made their first live appearance at Auckland City's underground bar and music venue The Wine Cellar back in July. Since then, they have completed a headlining North Island tour, released their debut self-titled album Sulfate to critical acclaim.
