Kosmetika have finally announced themselves to the world with their debut album Pop Soap, following a tantalising pair of singles drip-fed to an eager emerging fanbase over the past year and a half. Founded by Tāmaki Makaurau's Mike Ellis (Surf City, Water, Ghost Wave) and Khabarovsk, Russia's Veeka Nazarova, the Melbourne-based group have since expanded to a full five-piece and will be celebrating their release in style at the Grace Darling Hotel tonight, supported by Chess, U-Bahn and Girl Germs.
