Tāmaki Makaurau songwriter Louisa Nicklin has just unveiled her heavy latest single 'The Residue'. Drawing from the artist's background in contemporary classical music, 'The Residue' is ethereal, stark, and harmonically daring. Nicklin’s world-wary and powerful voice sits above a driving waltz-time churn in this gorgeous sadcore jam, perfect for springtime rain.
