Punk powerhouse crew Contenders tore up the Circle Stage over the Whammyfest Halloween weekend for the official release of their new split tape with Unsanitary Napkin. The Kirikiriroa-based group fronted by Cilla Kinnaird hit the road this month with Japanese punk cult figures Shonen Knife, darting around the North Island for three unmissable shows in just three days.
