Arthur Ahbez & Dave Weir Share 'Arthur & Dave' Split EP

Tāmaki Makaurau-based acid-folk songwriters Arthur Ahbez and Dave Weir have unveiled a mystical four song split EP, snappily titled Arthur & Dave. Recorded by Ahbez and Ed Castelow (Dictaphone Blues), each artist contributed two tunes to the subtly mind-expanding offering. Weir sounds plaintive and wistful on the gently strummed 'Too Much Brush In These Marks', while the playfully probing 'Who Do You Think You Are (Ware Up And Smell The Roses)' dares listeners to look in the mirror and reflect on what they might find. Ahbez sounds like a spooky angel as he sings the transcendental 'Foolish Little Lover' and throws down an all-encompassing statement of intent with his bluesy, organ-inflected 'I Dig It All'.
