Mad Caddies New Zealand Shows Announced

It's time to lock up Dad's golf clubs and dust off your checkerboard Vans, because California ska-punk champions Mad Caddies will be bringing a fistful of skanking good times to Aotearoa in April 2020. They're playing three North Island tour dates celebrating the Fat Wreck Chords veterans' 25th Anniversary – busting out their party-starting blend of two-tone, reggae and pop punk in Wellington, Tauranga and Auckland for the New Zealand leg of their Australasian tour. Tracing their origins all the way back to 1995, Mad Caddies helped spearhead ska's globe-conquering third wave, alongside such rabble-rousing notables as Rancid and The Mighty Mighty Bosstones. They're promising a freewheeling set of fan faves from throughout their seven studio album-strong back catalogue, including 2018's covers album Punk Rocksteady. Grip the tour details right here...

Australian ska punks rejoice! Acclaimed Fat Wreck Chords ska champions Mad Caddies are heading back to Australia to celebrate their 25th Anniversary in 2020.

Playing a massive bunch of shows across the country and bringing a set list full of fan favourites from their 25 year, seven album back catalogue. The Caddies will hit capital cities and regional centres throughout Australia, clocking up the kms and throwing down the good-time, two-tone vibes on a massive 13 date tour.

Loved for their essential distillation of ska, reggae and pop punk, Mad Caddies have attracted a loyal and committed global fan base since breaking out of a Californian high school jam room two and a half decades ago.

Along with contemporaries The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, No Doubt and Rancid amongst others, Mad Caddies rode high on the mid-nineties 3rd wave ska revival, doing their part to turn a whole new generation onto the vital sounds first born in late 50’s Jamaica and later crossed with the burning energy of 70’s punk rock.

While trends and times have changed, Mad Caddies have committed and stayed true to their original blueprint, celebrating their love of ska and reggae, creating urgent and dynamic music with universal appeal for punk fans across the planet.
