Japanese psych-rock travelling band Kikagaku Moyo are making their way to Aotearoa for the first time ever in late summer, to play a pair of sure to be mind-expanding headline events at Tāmaki Makaurau's Neck Of The Woods and Pōneke's San Fran. Forging together elements of classical Indian music, Krautrock, traditional folk and 70s rock into a psychedelic and sometimes disarmingly beautiful whirlpool of sound, Kikagaku Moyo arose from busking in the streets of early '10s Tokyo to touring the globe, dispensing four studio albums so far including 2018's Masana Temples. With sitar and organ currently incorporated into their multi-instrumental lineup, Kikagaku Moyo will be swooping into our shores at the dates below.
