
Watch The Happy Plaster's Video For 'We Survive'
Pōneke's The Happy Plaster, the project of Heleyni Pratley and friends, have shared a mind-bending video for their track ‘We Survive’, the first single from their debut album due to drop in mid-2020. The clip is a surreal green screen adventure through icebergs, dinosaurs, colourful cocktails, various figurines and footage of climate protests, with the visage of topical head-turner Greta Thunberg making an appearance at one point. The thought-provoking visuals were self-created by Pratley and the dramatic visual shifts draw parallels to the sonic contrasts found in the song itself, which is "ultimately about the hope that we can get our shit together.” Open your mind and your recycling bin as ‘We Survive’ (hopefully) impending climate doom...
