Krampusnacht Unveils Xmas EP 'Trinity: I - The Father'
Enigmatic dungeon synth artist Krampusnacht has returned to darken up your Christmas with Trinity : I - The Father, a haunting five track collection of electronic reimaginings of festive favourites, the first in a three EP trilogy. Krampusnacht draws inspiration from centuries-old diabolical European folk traditions for his impish and sometimes even jaunty spins on such timeless classics as 'Pam-pam-pam, Pam-pam Param' – with epic closer 'Trešnja Maraska' recalling the prog-rock pomp of Susperia soundtrack masters Goblin. Ostensibly from Greenland's Qaasuitsup Municipality yet also with Aotearoa connections (he's released via local imprint Goblin Terror), we can't imagine a better aural accompaniment to our upcoming Yuletide family gathering than Krampusnacht's Trinity: I - The Father...
'Trinity : I - The Father' is out now digitally and on compact disc via Krampusnacht's Bandcamp page.
