Watch Antagonist A.D's Intense Video For 'Gates Of Hell'

Aotearoa hardcore unit Antagonist A.D have rolled out an intense and disturbing video for 'Gates Of Hell', drawn from their four song Through Fire EP, releasing on seven inch vinyl in mid-January. Intercutting graphic imagery shot in Australia from feature-length film DOMINION with strobing live band footage, the clip for 'Gates Of Hell' amplifies the song's already fierce protest against animal abuse. The group are returning to Tāmaki Makaurau's Whammy Bar in early February as part of an upcoming Australasian release tour, which will see them sharing the stage with such heavy hitters as Knocked Loose and The Amity Affliction. Antagonist A.D vocalist Sam Crocker opened up about his band's harrowing latest clip, forthcoming shows, and support for the ongoing fire relief efforts in Australia...

"This footage was filmed in Australia - These were real animals, with real fear, real pain, and which experienced extreme suffering for a lifestyle which is unsustainable and unethical... The song has strong animal liberation themes which is heavily documented in the video. The video will be a hard watch for most people but the content is real.

Pure Fear is a lot different to our previous catalogue - it feels noticeably different playing it live but in a really good way. The song has so much groove / energy and the room responds to that. I can’t wait to play it more across Australia and New Zealand over the summer and further afield as we progress through 2020.
