Adam McGrath Announces National Tour With Esther Swift
Ōtautahi folk legend and troubadour Adam McGrath (The Eastern) is gracing the country with an extensive tour of undoubtedly intimate, cockles-warming gigs in the lead up to the release of his debut solo album in May. McGrath, "in order to keep himself on point and the audience from too much of his own self-indulgence" has taken up the talents of ethereal Scottish harp player and vocalist Esther Swift for his run of island-spanning performances. Kicking off in early February, the two masters of their craft will zig-zag up Aotearoa and back down again, starting with a free show in Diamond Harbour with The Eastern – a short ferry ride from the Lyttelton township. A handful more dates are yet to be announced, but for now check below where you can find harp, banjo and heart strings plucked this summer...
