Abigail (Japan) New Zealand Shows Announced
Infamous amongst heavy music aficionados as "The Most Evil Band in Japan," Tokyo black metal / thrashers Abigail are setting their sights on Aotearoa – ready to obliterate audiences in Auckland and Wellington with their decadent and unsparing riffage this coming July, alongside local heroes Bulletbelt. Tracing their origins back to 1992, Abigail have since released six studio albums including 2016's The Final Damnation, along with an expansive range of singles, demos and split EP releases – drawing dark inspiration from such uncompromising entities as Venom, Bathory, Mayhem, Darkthrone, Misfits, and transgressive US punk icon GG Allin. Only the charred remnants of Valhalla and Whammy Bar will remain in the wake of Abigail's mid-winter sonic onslaught, grip the details for their first ever New Zealand events right here...
