Certified dance floor fillers Cave Circles and Native Bush take over Wellington Museum's The Attic this Valentine's Day for a night of floor-shaking beats, aka a dream date for techno-heads. Riki Gooch (Trinity Roots, Orchestra Of Spheres) whips up a blend of Detroit and Chicago house, a rare appearance as solo electronic project Cave Circles. The Attic comes alive again this February with the entrancing, dancefloor-ready sounds of Native Bush and Cave Circles.

Acclaimed Pōneke-based producer Riki Gooch will deliver the long-awaited return as Cave Circles, alongside Native Bush, the DJ project of artist and soul singer, Pipiana Hēmi.

Native Bush aka Pipiana Hēmi is an emerging multidisciplinary artist, DJ and hybrid ngāsti creature.

Bush will weave you anywhere from sonic and somatic activation to dance floor devotion of high-frequency ass claps.

Recently performing at Melbourne/Naarm based electronic music festival ‘Hybrid’ as part of ‘Ngāti Kangaru’ – a heavyweight bill featuring artists such as Aisha Devi, Gabber Eleganza, Fatima Al Qadiri and more. She’s fresh off return from opening ‘the spAce betWEen us,’ an exhibition by Blak Dot Gallery and Tautai as one part of her collaborative project ‘Blood Mothers’.

Cave Circles (Riki Gooch) is a producer, musician and DJ who works across many musical universes. Known as a founding member of Trinity Roots, Gooch has gone on to produce the large scale musical ensemble such as Eru Dangerspiel, to releasing records on Wonderful Noise ( Japan ) to Seven Davis Jnr’s label, Secret Angels ( Los Angeles )as Cave Circles. He is also the drummer for Orchestra Of Spheres and has shared the stage with the likes of Thundercat, Onra, Lunice and Dam Funk, to name a few.

Gooch’s DJ style blends the worlds of Detroit and Chicago House and Techno.
