
Live Photos: The Stranglers, Mi-Sex - The Opera House, Wellington
UK punk / new wave legends The Stranglers were back in Aotearoa last week for a trio of headline events, joined at Pōneke's The Opera House on Friday by the current formation of 'Computer Games' electronic pop hitmakers Mi-Sex – featuring original members Don Martin and Murray Burns, back in action following the 40th anniversary of their breakout debut Graffiti Crimes. Sans original singer and guitarist Hugh Cornwell (who was in NZ playing songs of The Stranglers plus his own solo material in May last year), The Stranglers were here to bust out classics from throughout their top notch back catalogue.
