Watch Jarni Blair's Video For 'Higher Than The Sky'
Ōtepoti-raised, Auckland-based songwriter Jarni Blair is all groove and funk on his latest track 'Higher Than The Sky', paired with infectiously gleeful, high-energy visuals. 'Higher Than The Sky' is a full-blown love song disguised as a soul-pop dance track – over relentless bass licks and clipped funk guitar, Blair sings of an electric meet-cute at a yoga party, a woman who "moves a million ways that I don't understand", implying she is both a compelling person and very good at yoga. To celebrate the release, Blair has lined up two North Island events, and is on the bill for an upcoming yoga party at Kanuka Yoga Space – perhaps you'll meet someone there who moves in ways you don't understand...
