Filmmaker (Colombia) New Zealand Tour Announced

Those who dug into the details of Synthstrom Audible's mammoth recently announced Release world tour would be no doubt be aware Antioquia, Colombia underground techno artist Filmmaker is heading our way in February. No stranger to ambitious and bleeding-edge electronic dance events, A Low Hum pulls the rug out with today's revelation of a full blown nationwide tour of Aotearoa for Filmmaker, playing live hardware sets across the country in February and March.

The hyperprolific DIY producer has been dropping albums online at the frantic rate of around a collection a month (his last album Eternal Return came out on Saturday), including releases via Detriti Records, Opal Tapes and HCRecords, and has just had a significant chunk of his back catalogue reissued on vinyl and cassette by Netherlands imprint Tartarus Records. Lovers of club-rattling subterranean rhythms and post-apocalyptic melted VHS synth-scapes need to catch Filmmaker in action, joined by everyone's favourite support – "special guests" – at the dates below...
