Live Photos: Okilly Dokilly, Dr. Colossus - San Fran, Wellington

Not content with tearing Tāmaki Makaurau's Whammy Bar a new one on Monday, The Simpsons-themed metal maniacs Okilly Dokilly and Dr. Colossus swept into Pōneke yesterday to bring their cult-like insanity to San Fran. It was a special occasion for both the US Ned Flanders-inspired 'Nedal' masters and the Melbourne doom crew, who were wrapping up their Australasian tour together. Photographer Bruce Mackay was there to witness frontman Head Ned join Dr. Colossus for their final song, and both bands teamed up for Okilly Dokilly's encore, a literally stripped-down performance of 'Nothing At All' – click on the thumbnail images below to view the full gallery...
