Yumi Zouma Share Single 'Southwark' + video

Dream-pop globetrotters Yumi Zouma are back at it with another ear worm from upcoming LP Truth Or Consequences. 'Southwark', named for the street where their Ōtautahi studio is located, is just the sweetest love song, making my heart break a little bit every time vocalist Christie Simpson sings "I am imperfectly yours". It's paired with an imperfectly perfect DIY video, which director and guitarist Josh Burgess explained is “a bit of a Yumi tradition" to have one clip per record they make themselves. Armed with a handheld camera, the band takes viewers on an impromptu twilight trip to Sumner beach for an ice cold paddle and a run around. It's impossible to sit watching it without a big dumb smile on your face...
