Live Photos: Na Noise, The Naenae Express - Outsider Sounds, Auckland Town Hall

The second annual Outsider Sounds "festival within a festival within a Fringe Festival" kicked off in style last night with a rare live appearance from Scott Kendall's The Naenae Express and a set by rising stars Na Noise. Punters kicked back in the cozy beanbag-festooned Auckland Town Hall upstairs zone while The Naenae Express performed in a stripped back fashion and Na Noise's team of Yolanda Fagan (Echo Ohs, Bozo), Hariet Ellis (Dateline, Bozo, Dick Move, Vincent HL – surely the hardest working singer / guitarist in Tāmaki Makaurau showbiz) and drummer Chris Varnham (Street Chant) did their thing.
