As Tāmaki Makaurau noise rockers Swallow The Rat jet away to the US for an extensive March tour (including an official SXSW showcase event), they've unleashed the latest single from their new album Leaving Room, dropping in April via Texas imprint Shifting Sounds. Sounding fresh-faced on 'Bird of Ill', Swallow The Rat's song glides forwards at a breakneck pace before dive-bombing into a dense thicket of furious squalling guitars. As a bonus, the team of Sam Vercoe, Brian Purington, Hayden Fritchley and Stephen Horsley have also revealed eye-popping animated visuals for 'Bird of Ill', directed by Kyle Sattler.
